We Don’t Have A Lot of Time!

The Joule Report logo

It is estimated that planet Earth is 4.543 billion years old. In our lifetime, it was reported that Jeanne Calmet of France died at 122 years of age in 1997. How old are you? How long do you think you will be around?

If we just look at the average human lifespan against that of the planet, the math doesn’t even matter. It is so fractional that the world’s most powerful microscope residing at Lawrence Berkely National Laboratories, with capabilities to make images to a resolution of half the width of a hydrogen atom, would not be able to view it. Essentially, our physical human existence can seem infinitesimally insignificant.

We don’t have a lot of time. Why Waste It?
Be Grateful Leaf DesignIn the short amount of time I have with you today I would like to say

I am grateful for you.
I am grateful you are in my life.
I am grateful we have an opportunity to be present with one another.
I am grateful you exist.

Life is too short to live without gratitude.

This entire month we have dedicated ourselves to focusing on what matters. Being grateful over little and being grateful over much. We have publically stated the people, places, things, and events for which we are most grateful on a daily basis. Allow this awareness to envelop you and your spirit will always reverberate with gratitude.

Enjoy this season with you family and friends.

Happy Holidays!
